Really nice restaurant. Friendly servers. Good food. It's a diner. My wife had a mushroom and Swiss burger that she very much enjoyed. I had a Maid-Rite. It's a loose meat hamburger with mustard, pickle & onion. I added cheese and it was delicious. We got a half foot of onion rings. They were outstanding. The chili was good too. This is a great place to visit while in Hannibal. The homemade root beer was absolutely fantastic! Free refills. We liked it so much we went back the next day for lunch. My wife had an amazing Reuben and fries. And I had 2 Maid-Rites.

Wife and I drove through Hannibal and stopped at the Visitor Center for information on the history. Gracious lady there gave us lots of information and mentioned the Dinette's home made root beer. We had to try it. The Mo Burger was fantastic as was the chicken salad sandwich my wife got. Root beer was awesome. Great staff and quick service. I wish we lived closer. Highly recommend.

Bring your appetite! Stopped in over the weekend and ordered the fried tenderloin sandwich, homemade onion rings and bottomless homemade root beer and everything was deliciously incredible! The fried tenderloin is massive and delicious. The homemade onion rings were great and the homemade root beer, tasty! Our server was so attentive, we never had to ask for a refill, she would just come over with a pitcher and topped us off. Great food, great service! What more can you ask for?

What a great place to dine while in town. Locals and tourists alike flock to this establishment, and for good reason: The food is excellent. The service is remarkable. When we arrived, a large party of about 15 to 17 people had just put in their order. I thought, "We are sunk. It will be a long time before the kitchen recovers from that massive order." Alas, I was wrong in my thinking. Our food arrived quickly after the large party received their meals. They are amazingly fast, considering how varied their menu is. But, the menu notes that fried chicken is cooked to order and to allow up to 20 minutes for fried chicken. I bet it is worth the wait. I ordered an open face chili burger with onion rings, which was delicious. My wife ordered a half size tennderloin burger with onion rings. She was taken aback by the size of her order. She even asked the server, "Are you sure this is a 'half order'? All in all, it was a great dining experience. We highly recommend this place.

We were recently able to eat here during a quick trip to visit the sights of Mark Twain. What a fantastic little dinner. We got here soon after they opened, because by 12, there was a wait. I tried the half-sized Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. It was cooked well, and the half size was right for me. The rest of the family had chicken and waffles, the "Mississippi BBQ Burger", and kids 'Grilled Cheese." The onion rings were so good! The service was quick and courteous. Great little place to stop, just a block up from the shops on Main Street.

Food was good. Wife had a burger that was adequate; not life altering good but good enough to satisfy hunger. I had the tenderloin sandwich which was good. Root Beer was good. Food came out quick. Server was less than attentive. Ordered onion rings as an appetizer but never came out. Came to the table to ask a question but failed to refill my root beer despite him having the pitcher with him; walked away too quickly to ask him to refill it. Great signage for pics and posts, food was good enough to stop in and try again.

Excellent experience! Rootbeer in a frosted mug was incredible. So many options, but I settled on the stamping burger. It was incredible. You can tell this is a real deal diner in everything they cook. Highly recomend stopping by here.
